  • Business Development Representative
  • Sales Representative

Business Development Representative

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Position Description Overview

You will work to introduce merchant cash advance business financing programs to First Data merchant base and respond to questions regarding the products. You will then convert your leads or that of other team members to merchant cash advance funded deals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with team to meet and exceed sales revenue targets, both monthly and annually.
  • Find and create incremental business opportunities and drive closure within dedicated merchant account base.
  • Sell and negotiate pricing and contract terms with potential opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, with consistent follow up on outbound sales leads.


  • Minimum 1 years’ sales experience preferably selling B2B for service based companies, is ideal.
  • Demonstrated success in managing or developing a territory, or product.
  • Previous funding or banking transaction experience helps.
  • Ability to build and develop effective relationships with merchants and team members.
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong initiative and capable of engaging merchants.
  • Effective organizational skills, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks appropriately.
  • Excellent and persuasive communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while working in a fast paced environment.
  • A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred, or equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.

Sales Representative

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Compensation: $18-$20/hr + Bonus

Position Overview

As an outbound Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to contact existing First Data clients and introduce Evolocity’s business financing program to them, and generate qualified leads. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Introduce merchant cash advance business financing program to the First Data merchant base and respond to questions regarding the product.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities, with consistent follow up on outbound sales leads.
  • Meet and exceed lead generation sales targets.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three months of cold-calling phone sales experience, ideally selling business-to-business products.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
