Conveniently located in downtown Montreal, Evolocity Financial Group is a financial technology company that offers small and medium-sized businesses alternative lending and payment processing solutions. To support our growth, we are currently seeking a Customer Success Administrator (CSA) to ensure the daily servicing of our merchants and financial operations of our business. 

Job Summary

The CSA is nontraditional merchant service role, that facilitates the success of boarding merchants in a timely manner and the accurate set-up of merchant accounts, advances, and loans. This role will also be responsible to respond to a low volume of merchant inquiries via phone, email, and chat and will be equally responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties supporting the daily operations of our business. 

This role is ideal for someone with prior administrative and merchant service experience in a corporate environment, who has excellent communication skills (English & French), is detail-oriented, meticulous, and can juggle several concurrent tasks.

Must be able to work 10:00am – 6:00pm and holidays. 

Operational Responsibilities 

  • Create contracts and send to merchants in a timely manner
  • Create merchant accounts, advances and loans
  • Review and validate returns with merchants
  • Retrieve merchant daily sales numbers and enter data into the cash advance system
  • Review the compliance of documents before funding
  • Run merchant reports (i.e. monthly statements, amortization schedules, pay out statements…)
  • Update our CRM cases that have been funded and advise sales agents that the funds have been disbursed 

Merchant Services

  • Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with other departments as needed to resolve issues
  • File and maintain incident management tickets for questions, service requests, issues and system change requests
  • Support and back-up team members as required

 Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of a DEC. University degree preferred
  • 1-3 years’ related experience, ideally alternative financing or with credit card processing
  • Fluent in English and French, written and verbal
  • Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is critical
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task is an absolute must
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Must be self-driven with little supervision required
  • Proficient with MS Office and familiarity using web-based system applications
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com considered a definite asset

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst (BA) to be the vital link between information technology and our business objectives.

Job Summary:

In an Agile environment, the BA will document business requirements, conduct/lead requirement meetings and facilitate user acceptance testing. The role will support a combination of enhancements and ongoing support of existing systems as well as the creation of new ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow an Agile methodology, work with project team to define and manage the custom development project including scope, requirements, deliverables and milestones, sign-off, roll-out, knowledge transfer, and training.
  • Report project progress at regular intervals to the Project Board.
  • Advise the Project Board of deviations from plans and develop Exception Reports as necessary.
  • Plan the project and monitor its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
  • Manage risks to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Play the product owner role and act as a liaison between all teams.
  • Participate in defining solutions to solve complex, multidisciplinary business problems with long-term implications.
  • Balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technical and business experts.
  • Develop, define, and build project documentation.
  • Ensure proper planning for a smooth transition from the legacy applications to new software.
  • Understand, communicate, and document business and IT information in line with agreed processes and procedures.
  • Control project expenditure and report budgetary information at regular intervals to the Project Board.

 Required Skills:

  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Identify and work with project Stakeholders / Subject Matter Experts to analyze and understand business needs and functional requirements.
  • Turn business requirements into user stories.
  • Help the business define projects’ vision and goals.
  • Drive grooming backlog sessions to make sure that the development team fully understands the requirements and the business objectives.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Stakeholders.

Other:

  • 5+ years as Business Analyst gathering and documenting requirements in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent understanding of the SDLC in an Agile environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills and writing ability.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to distinguish user requests from the underlying business needs.
  • Skilled at speaking with individuals and groups about their needs and asking the effective questions to reveal essential information.
  • Must have a strong sense of accountability and be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to query databases.

Job Summary:

The Bank Reconciliation & Administration Coordinator will report directly to our Director of Finance. This individual will spend time matching the balances in Evolocity’s accounting records to the corresponding information on Evolocity’s bank statements. This role will help identify any financial issues that might need immediate attention. As our primary office coordinator, this individual will carry out various functions within Evolocity to make sure that the administrative duties required by the company are carried out smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

  • Reconcile daily for all bank accounts
  • Reconcile weekly for partner accounts against internal files and enter data into proprietary software and tools
  • File, scan, and keep records of all invoices
  • Participate in audit process, as required
  • Keep all accounting schedules up-to-date
  • Make bank deposits
  • Responsible to compile, process and support weekly payroll
  • Reconciliation and payment of payroll related invoices; health benefits and grsp’s.
  • Maintain and update payroll reports

Office Duties:

  • Handle all office and employee requests
  • Order all necessary office supplies and research advantageous deals with suppliers
  • Coordinate employee seating arrangements and internal office configurations
  • Manage relationship with building management and security

Administrative Duties:

  • Assist Co-Founders with basic administrative tasks (scanning, filing, preparing correspondence and meeting agendas, scheduling, minute taking, travel arrangements, reports, presentations…)
  • Coordination of corporate lunches
  • Other tasks as required 

What does our ideal candidate look like:

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 2 years payroll experience
