Evolocity is a fast-growing company and we’re looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist. Join our Software Development Team to provide technical support for various applications and systems. Your expertise will drive system modifications, integration and configuration work.

Job Summary:

As an Application Support Specialist, you will use strong business sense, Linux, scripting, and relational database knowledge to enhance Evolocity’s operational capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain production environments relating to internal and external services.
  • Understand in depth, the business processes supported by the systems.
  • Ensure continuity and quality by owning the resolution of issues across platforms.
  • Track progress and escalate if needed.
  • Provide assistance to internal clients to resolve back-end technical issues.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical network and software issues.
  • Define and implement standards for monitoring internal systems and processes.
  • Define and implement standards for automating recurring business and operational processes.
  • Maintain technical wiki and knowledge base documentation.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Ability to work in a Linux environment.
  • Understanding of basic Linux system administration concepts and tools (CRON, AWK…).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting software, such as Nagios.
  • Experience in various scripting languages (Perl, Shell, Python…).
  • Knowledge of programming concepts and languages (OO, Java, PHP…).
  • Knowledge of SQL and of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL…).
  • Knowledge of Linux containers and Docker is an asset.

  • Recruit, interview and select qualified candidates to maintain headcount for Evolocity’s call centre and partnership channels.
  • Manage the Sales Representatives lead generation performance and employee training in all aspects of product and lead generation process.
  • Ensure the Sales Representatives are providing qualified leads that comply with internal guidelines.
  • Ensure the success of our sales team through coaching and mentoring.
  • Assist your Agents with closing sales over the phone.
  • Review lead pipeline on daily/monthly basis to help achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Teach on-going sales techniques to help lead generators produce top quality leads.
  • Works with the Sales Director to achieve team/department goals.
  • Help the Sales Director coordinate all sales team meetings and training sessions.
  • Contribute ideas and work with the Sales Director to engage sales force motivation.
  • Identify areas of improvement for your team, create action plans to address and execute the plan to increase team performance.
  • Provide feedback from the sales floor to Sales Director and VP Sales.
  • Approve team timesheets and all other general management responsibilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to introduce Evolocity’s business financing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across Canada, and generate qualified leads for the business development team via high volume cold calling. You will also respond to potential clients’ questions regarding the products offered and promote Evolocity all products. This role requires an extreme amount of persistence, drive, and patience. Prior experience with outbound cold-calling is an absolute must for full-time positions.

Key Responsibilities

In addition to a generous hourly rate of $16, successful Sales Representatives can expect rewarding bonuses for attainment of daily and/or weekly goals. Group benefits are offered to full-time employees after three months.

Available work schedule:

  1. Full-time: Regular work hours are from 9:30am through 5:30pm Monday through Friday, and 9:00am through 4:30pm on Fridays.

Job Summary:

The Senior Software Developer will be involved in all stages of the application development lifecycle; requirement analysis, architecture & design discussions, development, application/database design, coding, testing, and deployment. They will take a key role in extending the internal platforms’ capabilities by developing new modules and integrating with third-party solutions that will greatly enhance operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Help design, architect and develop an advanced enterprise suite of tools for all aspects of the business.
  • Identify with the team the appropriate technology additions for development as we expand the functionality of our platform.
  • Participate in the business requirement grooming to ensure complete understanding and documentation of business needs.
  • Define and contribute to the implementation of consistency software development through participation in peer code reviews, implementation of development best practices and testing.
